When the time has come...
If you'd like to schedule end of life care, please call and we can offer our support throughout the euthanasia process. There are a few things you may want to think about prior to your appointment:
Consider who you would like present. If you would prefer to not be present, we will support you in this.
There is some necessary paperwork to complete at the time of your appointment. Payment will also be collected at this time. This will leave you free to concentrate on your pet during the euthanasia process. We offer both individual cremation with ashes returned to you and communal cremation if this is not your preference.
Pre sedation will be given to your pet prior to euthanasia. This will help ensure a comfortable and stress free time for both you and your pet.
The time frame for euthanasia will proceed as you need. We will do our best to ensure a calm process and to answer questions as you need.
Following your pet’s euthanasia, we’d be happy to direct you to pet loss resources. If you’d like to access these ahead of time, the MN Pets website and the Lap of Love website offer many free resources and guidance.
It takes about ten days for cremated remains to be returned to us. We will notify you upon receipt.
If you have any questions prior to your appointment, please feel free to call at 952-469-1525.
