DebClient Service Specialist/Veterinary TechnicianDeb graduated from Argosy University with her Associates in Applied Science in 2017. She worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Technician in the Twin Cities area before joining our team as a Receptionist in April of 2019. Deb loves working with animals and finds great joy in bonding with our clients as well as their pets. She resides in the South Metro with her son, her 4 cats and 1 dog. In her free-time Deb enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and writing.

JamieClient Service Specialist/Veterinary TechnicianJamie received her degree as a Veterinary Technician from Argosy University in 2014 with additional training in massage therapy for small animals. She lives on a dairy farm with husband Andy and their two boys, 120 cows, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a new addition to the family, Mogly the kitten. In her spare time Jamie enjoys being a ‘hockey mom’ and watching her boys play hockey along with their coach, aka Dad 9 months out of the year!

BarbClient Service SpecialistBarb has been with us since 2006. She currently resides in Lakeville with her family of pets. She enjoys spending time at home with her animals, driving her bus and doing some pet sitting for others. Barb also likes to get to know our clients and their pets and loving up on baby kittens.

AllisonClient Service Specialist/Assistant/Dog TrainerAllison began working at Dakota Pet Hospital in 2016 as a veterinary assistant and customer service representative. She enjoys helping wherever she is needed but has a passion for making the veterinary experience as low-stress as possible for both the patients and clients.
In addition to her Fear Free certification, Allison holds three professional certifications as a dog behavior professional. In early 2016, Allison obtained her Certificate in Training and Counseling from The Academy for Dog Trainers and her Certificate in Separation Anxiety Training through Malena DeMartini’s certification course. In 2020, she became accredited through Pet Professional Accreditation Board, receiving her Professional Canine Behavior Consultant-Accredited credential. Her business, Delighted Dogs, takes up the majority of her time but Allison couldn’t let go of her role in the veterinary field.
In her free time, Allison enjoys hiking, playing music, tending to her houseplants, watching basketball and spending time with her partner, Michael, and dog, Ahsoka.

NikitaVeterinary Assistant/Client Service SpecialistNikita joined our team in August of 2023 after moving here from Canada in 2022. She studied Animal Health Technology at Northwestern Polytechnic and is currently looking to complete her Veterinary Technology degree here in the states. She has a special interest in animal behaviour and rehabilitation. Nikita loves to spend time with her fiancé, traveling, watching movies, and playing airsoft, softball and hockey.

HadleyClient Service SpecialistHadley joined our team at the start of 2024. She grew up in Lakeville fostering dogs for Last Hope, Inc and currently resides in Burnsville with her boyfriend, Labrador mix named Sunny and her Last Hope rescue cats, Paris & Peter the Tripod. When she's not enjoying her days at Dakota Pet you can most likely find her outside training horses, studying for her certification in Equine Massage Therapy or spending time with 3 of her own horses; Rein, Drummer & Marigold.

SarahClient Service SpecialistSarah joined our team in the fall of 2025. Professionally, Sarah has a B.S. in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota, as well as being an ACE certified personal trainer. The Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat is her home bakery, where she creates custom cookies and cakes.
She is originally from Southwest Minnesota, from the small town of Tracy. Sarah grew up on a livestock farm where her family raises purebred Columbia Sheep, Quarter Horses, and English Springer Spaniels. The family also farms about 600 acres. She regularly goes home on her free weekends to visit and assist her family with their many responsibilities. Sarah has previously worked at animal rescues and vet clinics as both an animal caretaker and client care representative. She also does dog walking and cares for others’ pets when she is able.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, art, baking, hiking, camping, and playing video games and board games with her family. She has two sweet senior Springer Spaniels: Bear and Scout. Sarah and her husband Dave have two young boys who keep them on their toes!
